Speed Boat Trip: To and From Chatara-Tribeni

Everybody here was: I, Me and Myself. Boat could only hold max 18 people going upstream. But, look at these people there are more than 18 people. When people were asked to please step out off the boat as it has reached the maximum number the boat will not be able to pull upstream and could tip. No one I mean no one wanted to get off the boat.

What a shame: Police were called to ask the people to step out off the boat and keep the max number of 18 people in it

Bamboo sellers: Young boys who travel from the hill country on a long floating bamboo which they sell once they reach to the plains. They spent the night on it if it gets dark before they reach their destination

Tribeni: Arun River on the right, Sunkoshi (made of total five rivers) on the left. Tamur behind me joins it few 100-200 meters south. Tribeni: Meaning the meeting point of three rivers.

Traffic and the crowd in New Road, Kathmandu: The road is really narrow for the city like Kathmandu the nation’s capital. Let alone to drive in the road itself, it is small even for people to along the either side of the road in footpath/pavement. Beware of pick pockets…

Nepalese Army, the only well organised and disciplined organisation and department in Nepal. It is not filled with corruption; at least we don’t see like we do in every level of government departments from local to central including the government ministries of Nepal.
Government should increase the budget to fund to increase and extend the Nepalese Army as such a time like this that the country is facing uncertainty and instability. Military should not be pulled or push into any political games. Military should be neutral but firm in the interest of Nepal and the Nepalese people, defending Nepal and the Nepalese from any threat be it internal or external.

Gurkha Welfare Centre - Place where retired Gurkhas are supposed to get some help and assistance. Mainly medical help and assistance to retired Gurkha and the widows of the Gurkhas who served in the British Gurkha.
But, in Nepal people are selfish and always waiting to pull you down incase they might do well than oneself. Even in this small place which is owned by the British Government you find people doing politics. People who are working here seems to take side either they show favour or go against people of certain caste when it comes to providing welfare assistance.
Well most of the staff working here are Rais and Limbus, who are paid by the British Government to be a help and assistance to the retired Gurkhas and their families and not to politicise the situation.
I came across Rais and other caste staff, found them to be quiet helpful despite of whatever the caste the Gurkha and their family member was. But, I found Limbu workers to be little more leaning towards their own caste and delay and obstruct the welfare process if they were other than Limbus.
People working her must remember they got their job only because of the Gurkhas and their family, the only reason they were hired to serve and assist in any means within the British guideline. If there were no Gurkhas and their families no matter what their caste is, there would be no jobs here. People here are paid only because of the Gurkhas and are paid to help and look after them.
British have no clue about this, at least I think? But, people who are paid to help the Gurkhas are the people who are being a hindrance to their own fellow countrymen; this is what money does to many people.
