While in Kakarbhitta, you happend to have spare time, don’t forget to visit Dhulabari, very popular shopping town for people travelling through Kakarbhitta.
Closest aiport is Bhadrapur, about 25km southwest of Kakarbhitta or about 3 hours drive to Biratnagar airport. Non-Nepalese, tourist who needs visa to travel to India need to check that they have their visa before heading to the Indian border, as the Indian visa is not issued in the border office, unlike the Nepalse, which is more effecient and service driven.
